AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, March 18, 2014
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 8:31 p.m.
Present at the meeting were:

x Council Member Jason Gadd x Council Member Cheryl Youakim
x Council Member Molly Cummings x Council Member Kristi Halverson
x PED Director Kersten Elverum x Public Works Director Steve Stadler
x Police Chief Mike Reynolds x City En ineer Nate Stanle
Council member Gadd summarized Empty Bowls and stated that they had great donations.
Council member Cummings stated that the Caring Youth Committee will meet on March 20rh. She
stated that she is doing the Hennepin County Citizen's Academy.
Council member Youakim stated the SWLRT meeting is on March 26t�' and April 2°d at St. Louis
Park.
City Manager Mornson update:
• City Manager asked council if they are interested in doing a tour of the Wells Fargo building on
April g'�, at 5:00 pm priar to the wark session.
• City Manager introduced Mr. Mark Wegner of the TCW railroad. Mr. Wegner provided the
Council with an update on some of their concerns with the rail relocation.
• Cit�y Manager reminded Counci] of the League of Cities Annual Conference taking place on June
18" through the 20th.
• City Manager informed the Council that the Park Commission is looking at how best to proceed
with park improvements.
Police Chief Mike Reynolds and Public Works Director Steve Stadler informed the council on how
the new parking situation is going and Mr. Stanly provided an update on drainage of 3rd Street and
13`�' Avenue North.
There being no further business Council member Halverson moved and Council member
Cummings seconded a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at
9:30 pm.
