Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to aprove the On -Sale Sunday
Liquor Application for LTD Brewery, LLC located at 715 Mainstreet, Unit 5, starting July 13,
2014.
Approval is subject to the City Council adopting Ordinance 2014-1072 which allow for Sunday
sales with On -Sale Brewer Taproom Licenses. The Second Reading of the Ordinance is part of
the Consent Agenda. If adopted, the Ordinance will take effect upon publication on July 10,
2014.
Overview
LTD Brewery, LLC has submitted an application for On -Sale Sunday Liquor sales at the LTD
Brewery located at 715 Mainstreet, Unit 5. With recent changes to State law and pending City
Council adoption of Ordinance 2014-072, LTD Brewery would qualify to obtain the license for
Sunday sales. The City permits Sunday sales for licenses that qualify under Section 1200.15
during the hours of 10:00 a.m. on Sundays to 1:00 a.m. on Mondays. The current fee for Sunday
sales set by Ordinance is $200. Pending approval, the license will be effective starting July 13,
2014 and expire on June 30, 2015.
