AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Monday, August 4, 2014
Mayor Maxwell called the ineeting to order at 9:45 p.m.
Pi•esent at the meeting were:

x Jim Genellie, Communi Services Dir. x PW Director, Steve Stadler
Citv Mana�er Mornson Update:
• City Manager Mornson provided an update on Cottageville Park pi•ocess.
• City Manager Mornson reminded Council of National Night Out, the employee picnic, and the
Police and Fire softball game.
• City Manager Mornson gave congratulations to Lieutenant Scanlon and Firefighter Skinner on
assisting with delivery of a baby today.
• City Manager Mornson stated that Cadet Eddie Gallegos will start as a police officer on
August 18. The swearing in will occur on either August 19�' or September• 2"a
• City Manager Mornson stated that Hopkins Hockey Board may contact council members
individually to talk about the need for a second sheet of ice.
• City Manager Moi-nson let Council know that he will be starting his league board ineetings in
August for the start of his 3-year term.
Public Works Director, Steve Stadler talked about handicap sib age in the presidential area.
Community Services Director•, Jim Genellie provided an update on the liquor stor•e ordinance
change and the second reading will occur on August 19 or September 2. Jim also talked to
Council about possiUle dog ordinance changes.
There being no further business Council member Youakim moved and Council member
Gadd seconded a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at
10:15 pm.
