AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
'I'uesday, August 19, 2014
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
Present at the meeting were:
x Mayor Maxwell x City Manager Mike Mornson
x Council Member Jason Gadd x Council Member Cheryl Youakim
x Council Member Molly Cummings x Council Member Kristi Halverson
PED Director Kersten Elverum x PW Director, Steve Stadler
Council member Jason Gadd stated that the community works Light Rail meeting is on Thursday
in St. Louis Park.
City Mana�er Mornson Update:
• City Manager Mornson reminded council of open house for Roz and Kiddywampus on
September 9`�' and September 13`�'.
• City Manager Mornson stated that we will recognize two citizens for rescue efforts at
Ramsgate and Taco Bell at an upcoming council meeting.
• City Manager Mornson provided updates on Cottageville Park, Blake Road and Mainstreet.
• City Manager Mornson stated that Gallery Flats would like to do a council tour either
September 16'�' or October 14th. The second building received their certificate of occupancy.
Public Works Director, Steve Stadler talked about business signs for businesses are open on
Shady Oak during construction.
Planning & Economic Director, Kersten Elverum updated council on Block 64 and Johnson
building.
There being no further business Council member Youakim moved and Council member Gadd
seconded a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 8:16 pm.
