AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, September 16, 2014
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 7:16 p.m.
Present at the meeting were:

Public Works Director, Steve Stadler
Ms. Elverum discussed the possible purchase of the Johnson Building. Purchasing the building
would allow for greater control of the ultimate development of the site. Ms. Elverum also gave
an update of other developments in the city.
Council member Gadd stated that there will be a Yellow Ribbon meeting this Thursday,
September 18th in the Raspberry room at the City of Hopkins. He also said that the Southwest
Community Works Steering Committee will be meeting on September 18 as well.
Council member Cummings said that she had received a question about when apartments were
required to provide heat. Mr. Genellie said that he would get an answer to that question.
There being no further business Council member Gadd moved and Council member Youakim
seconded a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 7:40 .pm.
