Attached is Ordinance 2014-1070 for second reading. This ordinance would limit the
size of liquor stores to a maximum of 5000 square feet and grandfather MGM existing
square footage.
The Citv Council's action is to aDDrove the ordinance for second readina and order it
published.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOPKINS DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
That the Hopkins Zoning Ordinance No. 535 be, and the same and is hereby
amended by adding the following underlined language, which reads as follows:
B-2 B-3
535.01 Subd. 3. 67. Liquors Xk4)! Xf4)±
*Provided that any liquor store existing at the time of the adoption of this Ordinance may
relocate within the B-2 and B-3 zoning districts provided it remains the same gross
square footage or less
