AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Wednesday, November 5, 2014
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 9:02 PM
Present at the meeting were:
Council member Jason Gadd stated that he attended the 915 Open House, which is a drop-off
place for homeless teens.
Council member Cummings stated that she attended a CAP meeting for police and was
impressed with the way the police department has those meetings.
Council member Youakim thanked the Mayor and Council for the card and flowers that she
received from in congratulations to winning the elections for state representative for district 46B.
City Manager Mike Mornson:
• Reminded council that the work session is Monday, November 10.
• Informed council that Truth in Taxation notices will be going out on November 12tn
• Informed the council that the Snyder building will be undergoing a renovation.
• Stated that the house on Blake Road will be coming down in November.
• Provided an update on the State of the City event that is on January 29`h.
• The council discussed their opinions on the city's ability to purchase the Albert Pike
lodge. There was much interest in attempting to purchase the property.
Amy Domeier and Jim Genellie discussed with the council the process for replacing Council
member Cheryl Youakim position. The city will be taking applications until November 25, with
interviews shortly thereafter.

Council Work Session
There being no further business Council member Cummings moved and Council Member
Halverson seconded a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at
9:55 p.m.
