RESOLUTION NO. 80-2867
RESOLUTION RELATING TO A PROJECT UNDER
THE MUNICIPAL INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
ACT;. AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hopkins,
Minnesota, (the City) , as follows:
1. This Council, on April 1, 1980, adopted a resolution
calling for a public hearing on a proposal that the City issue
revenue bonds under Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 474, as amended,
to finance, in whole or in part, a project on behalf of Donald
F. Hagen and Herbert A. Mason, and directed that notice of such
public hearing be published as required by law.
2. The Council is now advised that notice of such public
hearing was not published as required by law, and that it is there-
fore necessary to set another public hearing on the proposal to
finance this project.
3. Therefore, a public hearing on the proposal to
undertake and finance the project is called and shall be held
August 5th, 1980, at 7 : 30 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in
the City. The City Clerk is directed to cause notice of the
public hearing to be published in the Hopkins Sun, being the
official newspaper of the City and in the Minneapolis Star/Tribune,
being a newspaper of general circulation in the City, both publi-
cations to be published at least once not less than fifteen nor
more than thirty days prior to the date fixed for the hearing,
in substantially the following form:
4. A draft copy of the proposed application to the Minne-
sota Commissioner of Securities, together with all attachments
and exhibits thereto, has been presented to this Council and is
• hereby approved. Such application, attachments and exhibits are
hereby ordered placed on file with the City Clerk, and shall be
available for public inspection, following the publication of the
notice of public hearing, between -- hours of 8 :30 o 'clock A.M.
and 4 :30 o 'clock P.M. , Monday t . ou * =riday.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was seconded by Member Slaton , and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof :
41/ Councilmember Lohmann, Milbert, Slaton and Mayor Miller
and the following voted against the same :
Councilmember Arimond
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopteds at
a regular meeting held the 15th day of July 1980 .
