80-2888 CITY OF HOPKINS Hennepin County, Minnesota Ri':SOLUTION NO. 80-2888 A RESOLUTION SETTING WAGE POLICY FOR ELECTION JUDGES AND CHAIRPERSONS WHEREAS, the passage of time and the current inflation rate has made the wage for Election Judges and Chairpersons obsolete, and WHEREAS, payment for this civic service, although nominal, should rise in some logical manner without further Council attention. NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: Sect. 1. The hourly wage rate for Election Judges shall be the same as that established by the Federal government as a minimum wage. • Sect. 2. The hourly wage rate for Election Judge Chairpersons shall be $. 50 per hour higher than the wage for Election Judges. Sect. 3. The wages specified above shall be effective November 1, 1980.
