A RESOLUTION WAIVING PLATTING REQUIREMENTS TO
CERTAIN LANDS DESCRIBED IN CERTIFICATES OF TITLE
NOS. 563271 AND 570927, FILES OF THE REGISTRAR OF
TITLES, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, Steiner E Koppelman, Inc. are named as the owners of certain
lands located in the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, and more fully and accurately
described in Certificates of Title Nos. 563271 and 570927, Files of the
Registrar of Titles of Hennepin County, Minnesota, said descriptions being set
forth by metes and bounds, and
WHEREAS, said owners desire to convey by appropriate Deed a portion of
said premises, which portion thus to be conveyed is described as follows:
That part of the following described property which lies Northerly of the
Northerly right-of-way line of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific
Railroad Company;
• That part of the South 1/2 of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter, Section 25, Township 117, Range 22, lying West of a line drawn
North parallel to the West line of the Northwest Quarter of said
Section 25 from a point on the South line of said Northwest Quarter
distant 1039.5 feet East along said South line from the Southwest
corner of said Northwest Quarter;
which lies Easterly of the Southerly extension of the West line of
Block 2, L. P. Crevier's First Addition to West Minneapolis, according
to the recorded plat thereof;
except that part thereof which lies Westerly of the Southerly extension
of the center line of 14th Avenue South, in L. P. Crevier's First Addition
to West Minneapolis, and lying North of a line 84 feet Southerly of,
measured at a right angle to and parallel with, the North line of said
South 1/2 of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; and
That part of the North 150.00 feet of the South 1/2 of the Southwest
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, Section 25, Township 117, Range 22,
which lies Westerly of the Southerly extension of the West line of
• Block 2, L. P. Crevier's First Addition to West Minneapolis, according
to the recorded plat thereof, and Easterly of a line described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the North line of said South 1/2
of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter with the Southerly
extension of the East line of Block 3 in said addition; thence
South 8 degrees 42 minutes 10 seconds West (assuming the West line
of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 25 has an assumed bearing
of North) , a distance of 152.28 feet, to the South line of said
North 150.00 feet, and said line there terminating.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby Resolved by the City Council of the City
of Hopkins that the title to said premises as above described may be conveyed
without further platting thereof, and the premises as described in said two
Certificates of Title bearing Nos. 563271 and 570927 may be divided as hereinabove
set forth without further platting or other formal subdivision requirements.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins,
Minnesota, at a regular meeting held on the 3rd day of October, 1978.
