RESOLUTION NO. 77-2593
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY OF HOPKINS TO
ENTER INTO AGREEMENT FOR AND THE SALE OF CERTAIN
LANDS TO BE USED FOR REHABILITATION PURPOSES
WHEREAS, by previous Resolutions of the City Council of the City of
Hopkins, the City has acquired for rehabilitation purposes the following des-
cribed premises situated in the City of Hopkins, Hennepin County, Minnesota,
viz:
The Southerly 24 feet of Lot 3, the Westerly 69.84 feet of Lots 4 and 5,
the Westerly 69.84 feet of the Northerly 33 feet of Lot 6, the Northerly
33 feet of Lot 19, all of Lots 20 and 21, and the Southerly 24 feet of
Lot 22, all in Block 69, West Minneapolis Second Division, together with
that part of the vacated North-South alley in said Block 69 abutting upon
said Lots or parts thereof, and
WHEREAS, such premises have been for those purposes acquired by the
City of Hopkins, and Ryan Construction Company of Minnesota, Inc. has offered
to improve said premises and the area surrounding the consonant with theā¢ pur-
poses and aims of the City and those rehabilitation plans, and has offered to
purchase said premises at the price allowed by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City Council of the
City of Hopkins, as follows:
1. That the offer of Ryan Construction Company of Minnesota, Inc.
for the purchase of the above described premises be and is
hereby accepted, and the City is hereby authorized to enter into
an agreement for and the sale of said premises to said Ryan
Construction Company of Minnesota, Inc.
2. It is hereby further resolved that upon payment of the considera-
tion involved and upon the completion and fulfillment of all of
the conditions and provisions in connection with such sale, the
Mayor and the Clerk of the City of Hopkins be and the same are
hereby authorized and empowered for and in behalf of the City of
Hopkins to sign, execute and deliver appropriate documents and
deeds conveying said premises as hereinabove set forth.
Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, at
a regular meeting held on the 5th day of July, 1977.
