RESOLUTION NO. 77-2643
RESOLUTION DECLARING BUILDING TO BE HAZARDOUS
AND DANGEROUS TO THE PUBLIC AND ORDERING THE
RAZING, DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL THEREOF
PURSUANT TO M.S.A. 463.15 to 463.26
WHEREAS, the Housing and Building Inspector of the City of Hopkins
has duly investigated and inspected the condition of a building located upon
Lots 12 and 13, Block 10, Andersons First Addition, in the City of Hopkins,
Hennepin County, Minnesota, the post office address of which is 809 East
Excelsior Avenue in Hopkins, and
WHEREAS, he has filed a report defining said building to be dilapi-
dated and constituting a fire hazard and/or a hazard to public safety and health,
• which report is on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Hopkins , and
WHEREAS, the owners of record of said premises have been duly notified
of said report and of a public hearing upon said report in connection therewith.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City Council of the City
of Hopkins, as follows:
1. That the owner or owners of said building located upon the
premises hereinabove set forth, be and the same are hereby
ordered to raze , demolish and remove said building within 60
days of the service of this Resolution and Order, which building
is hereby declared by the City Council to be hazardous and
dangerous to the public, all pursuant to M.S.A. 463.15 to
463.26.
2. That further, this Order shall be enforced pursuant to the
terms of said statute.
Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins , Minnesota,
at a regular meeting held on the 13th day of December, 1977.

RESOLUTION IN MEMORY OF
W. HARLAN PERBIX
WHEREAS, W. Harlan Perbix, of the City of Hopkins since
his birth, has rendered valuable services to and for the City of
Hopkins as Mayor as well as in other Offices and capacities, and
WHEREAS, at all times his services and contributions
have been performed honestly, ably, and always for the betterment
• of the people as well as the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
the City of Hopkins as follows:
1. That the passing of W.,Harlan Perbix on December 4,
1977, will result in a void difficult to fill;
2. That the City of Hopkins for and in behalf of its
people, extends to his family its deep sympathy
and appreciation for the contributions made by
W. Harlan Perbix during his lifetime.
Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins,
Minnesota, at a regular meeting on the thirteenth day of December,
1977.
