RESOLUTION NO. 83-3085
RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, certain improvements, all as more fully described in
Exhibit A. hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof have been previously
ordered and completed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, as follows:
1. That the cost of each such improvement to be specially assessed
is hereby declared to be the cost or the amount to be assessed, whichever
410 is greater, which appears in said Exhibit A.
2. THat the City Clerk, with the assistance of City Engineer, shall
forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for each
such improvement against every assessed piece or parcel of land within the
various districts or locations affected without regard to cash valuation,
as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessments in
his office for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessments
notify the Council thereof.
Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota,

EXHIBITA
1. Project 82-01 - Sanitary sewer on the easement on west side of the Hopkins
Arches to serve the Massey Ferguson (Nautilus) property, the estimated cost
proposed to be assessed being $17,780.47.
2. Project 82-04 - Ornamental street lights on Althea Lane, Herman Terrace and
Sweet Briar Lane,total estimated cost being $28,828.00 of which 75% is proposed
to be assessed to benefitting properties and 25% to be paid from General Funds.
3. Project 83-01 - Crosswalk at Honeywell, estimated cost proposed to be assessed
being $5,980.00.
4. Project 78-28 - Concrete curb, gutter and driveways on Excelsior Avenue from
Adams Avenue to Monroe North (Red Owl) ; North side of County Road #3 from
5th Avenue to the abandoned CN&W Railroad right-of-way (Town Terrace Apts.) ;
Washington Avenue South from Milwaukee Street to 3rd Street South (Super Value) ;
• the estimated cost proposed to be assessed being $ 17,977.25
