RESOLUTION NO . 83-3086
RESOLUTION APPROVING ACQUISITION OF
15 - 8th Avenue North
WHEREAS , the Hopkins City Council has established a
Redevelopment Plan in accorance with Minnesota Statutes entitled
"Hopkins Redevelopment Program, Central Business District" .
WHEREAS, the Authority has adopted a resolution identifying
established policies and procedures for real estate acquisition,
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted a resolution to acquire
land and buildings in this area which are substandard blighting
influences , improper land use, and non-conforming in accordance with
• the Hopkins Zoning Ordinance, in order to facilitate the assembling
of land into parcels of adequate size and shape to meet future
development needs and standards ,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Hopkins City Council
that the property listed below be acquired and that the amount
listed next to the address be established as the "fair market
value" of each separate parcel and that the City Manager be authorized
to prepare and submit offers to and secure purachase agreements from
the various property owners in the amounts listed below.
15 - 8th Avenue North $106 , 000

day of July 1983.
