RESOLUTION NO. 75-2434
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 74-2387 of the Council adopted
June 4th, 1975, a report has been prepared by John Strojan, City Engineer, with
reference to the improvement on 21st Avenue North from Third Street North to
Fourth Street North by the installation of sanitary sewer, water services,
street construction and storm sewer thereon and this report was received by
the Council on May 6th, 1975.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Hopkins, Minnesota,
as follows:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance
with the report and the assessment of the following described properties: That
part of the Wouthwest Quarter (SW�) of Northeast Quarter (NE�) of Section 23,
Township 117, Range 22 described as follows: Beginning at a point where the east
line of the Southwest Quarter (SW�) of the Northeast Quarter (NE�) of Section 23,
Township 117, Range 22 intersects with the south line of State xighway No. 7;
thence southerly along said east line 714.52 feet; thence westerly at right angles
to said east line a distance of 168 feet; thence northerly and parallel with said
east line to south line of State Highway No. 7; thence northeasterly along the south
line of said highway to point of beginning; Lots 16 thru 30, inclusive, Block 4,
West Minneapolis Third Division, for all or a portion of the cost of the improve-
ment pursuant to M.S.A. , Secs. 429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as amended, at an estimated
total cost of the improvement of $7,937.00 for sanitary sewer; $350.00 for water
services; $7,537.25 for street construction and $4,860.00 for storm sewer.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 3rd
day of June, 1975, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M. ,
and the Clerk shall give published notice of such hearing and improvement as
required by law.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, this 6th day of
May, 1975.
