Overview The applicant, Community Housing Development Corporation (CHDC), requests vacation of the abandoned storm sewer easement within the Hopkins Village plat. This vacation is necessary as part of the applicant’s plans to subdivide the subject property and prepare the existing surface parking lot for future development. On February 2, 2016, the City Council held a public hearing to review this item that produced no comment and adopted Resolution 2016-01, which approved the first reading of Ordinance 2016-1105. Attached is Ordinance 2016-1105 for second reading. This ordinance will vacate the storm sewer easement within the Hopkins Village plat.
