Appointment and Oath of Commissioners – Park Board Members Cooper and Kaczmarek; Mornson/Domeier (CR2016-081)/ September 6, 2016 ��� Council Report 2016-081 Appointment and Oath of Commissioners — Park Board Members Cooper and Kaczmarek Proposed Action. Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Motion to a�point Laura Cooper and K.� Kaczmarek to the Park Board. Overview: Mayor Cummings has reviewed the applications and interviewed applicants interested in serving on the commission. Based upon the recommendations of Mayor Cummings, staff is requesting approval of the motion to fill the Park Board vacancies with Laura Cooper and Kyle Kaczmarek effective September 6, 2016. After a motion has been made to appoint the commissioners, the City Clerk will issue the oath. Primarv Issues to Consider: City Code establishes that the appointments shall be made by the Mayor with the approval of the Council.
