This will ratifiy a one year contract with Local #49. Overview The contract calls for a 3.0% wage increase effective January 1, 2017. Insurance premiums will remain the same for 2017. Contract is within budget for 2017. Primary Issues to Consider  What other economic issues are included in the new contract?  How does this agreement fit with the 2017 Budget? The cost of the contract is within the 2017 budget. Analysis of Issues What other economic issues are included in the new contract? We adjusted the minium call back time from 2.5 hours to 3 hours. Staff is confident this change will fit within current budgets. How does this agreement fit with the 2017 Budget? The cost of the contract is within the 2017 budget. Alternatives 1. Approve the contract. 2. Do not approve the contract. Staff would have to renegotiate the contract.
