REGULAR MEETING PROCEEDINGS
JANUARY 16, 2018
CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Hopkins City Council
was held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 7:07 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City
Hall, 1010 First Street South, Hopkins.
Mayor Cummings called the meeting to order with Council Members Kuznia, Halverson,
Gadd and Campbell attending. Staff present included City Manager Mornson, Director
of Planning and Development Elverum, Assistant City Manager Lenz and Public Works
Director Stadler.
ADOPT AGENDA
Mayor Cummings commented on changes to the Agenda. Per the request of the
applicant, the New Business item regarding the off-sale liquor license request by SPMG
Holding, Inc. will be pulled from the Agenda and moved to the February 5 Council
Meeting. Both New Business items for the Pavilion project related to the bids and
assignment of contracts have been pulled from the Agenda by staff and have been
moved to the February 5 Council Meeting.
Motion by Campbell. Second by Gadd.
Motion to Adopt Agenda as amended.
Ayes: Kuznia, Halverson, Cummings, Gadd, Campbell.
Nays: None. Motion carried.
CONSENT AGENDA
1. Minutes of the January 2, 2018 City Council Regular Meeting Proceedings
2. Minutes of the January 2, 2018 City Council Work Session following Regular
Meeting Proceedings

5. Approve Cooperative Agreement— Hennepin County Bikeway Cost Participation
Study; Stanley (CR2018-010)
Motion by Kuznia. Second by Gadd.
Motion to Approve the Consent Agenda.
Ayes: Kuznia, Halverson, Cummings, Gadd, Campbell.
Nays: None. Motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the City Council and upon a motion by
Campbell, second by Kuznia, the meeting was unanimously adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
