05-02-00 BOARD OF REVIEWSCITY OF HOPKiNS MINUTES BOARD OF REVIEW RECONVENED MEETING TUESDAY, May 2, 2000 7:00 P.M. A reconvened meeting of the Hopkins Board of Review was held on May 2, 2000 in the Council Chambers. A. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Gene Maxwell called the meeting to order at 7:O1P.M. Hopkins Board of Review members in attendance were: Mayor Maxwell, Councilmembers -Karen Jensen, Diane Johnson, and Rick Brausen. Also present were City Manager Steve Mielke and City Assessor Bob Wilson. Absent was Councilmember Fran Hesch. B. BOARD OF REVIEW ACTION ON RECOMMENDATIONS All Board members received an information packet from the City Assessor describing the real estate advisors' reviews and recommendations of each case. Case 00-01, 315 Monroe Ave. N., P.I.D. #19-117-21 24 0105 Real Estate Advisors' recommendation: No analysis of market value was prepared. Real Estate Advisors were not allowed inside the property. Ms. Johnson moved and Ms. Jensen seconded the motion to sustain the assessor's 2000 estimated market value of $130,000. The motion passed unanimously. Case 00-02, 301 14th Ave. N., P.I.D.#24-117-22 23 0133 Real Estate Advisors' recommendation: Reduction of $4,000 fora 2000 estimated market value of $107,000. Mr. Brausen moved and Ms. Johnson seconded the motion to accept the real estate advisors' recommendation. Motion passed unanimously. Case 00-03, 110 15th Ave. N., P.I.D. #24-117-22 32 0010 Real Estate Advisors' recommendation: No analysis of market value was prepared. Real Estate Advisors were unable to set up a mutual time with owner to view the property interior. Ms. Jensen moved and Mr. Brausen seconded the motion to sustain the assessor's 2000 estimated market value of $100,000. The motion passed unanimously. C. ADJOURNMENT Ms. Jensen moved and Mr. Brausen seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting. The meeting adjourned at 7:09 P.M. with unanimous consent.
