2004-007 CITY OF HOPKINS Hennepin County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO: 04-7 RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT A SIGN WHEREAS, an application for Conditional Use Permit CUP04-1 has been made by Independent School District 270; WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: 1. That an application for a conditional use permit was made by Independent School District 270 on January 2, 2004; 2. That the Hopkins Zoning and Planning Commission, pursuant to mailed and published notice, held a public hearing on the application and reviewed such application on January 27, 2004: all persons present were given an opportunity to be heard; 3. That the written comments and analysis of City staff were considered; and 4. A legal description ofthe subject property is as follows: That part of the west 247.5 feet of the west one-half of the Northeast Quarter and that part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 117, Range 22, lying north of the centerline of Minnetonka Mills Avenue as shown on the part of West Minneapolis Second Division. EXECPT The north 40 feet of the east 85 feet of the westerly 247.5 feet of the Northeast Quarter of Section 24, Township 117, Range 22 (said distances being measured along the North line of said Northeast Quarter), together with as easement for ingress and egress purposes over, across and upon that part of the east 33 feet of the west 247.5 feet of said Northeast Quarter of said Section 23 lying north of State Highway. No.7. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application for Conditional Use Permit CUP04-1 hereby approved based on the following Findings of Fact: 1. That the sign meets the requirements for a conditional use permit. Adopted this 2nd day of September 2003.
