MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, August 15, 2006
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 8:24 pm at the conclusion of the regular City Council
meeting at City Hall. Council members present were Mayor Maxwell and Council members Thompson,
Halverson, and Youakim. Council Member Rowan was absent. City personnel present were City Manager
Rick Getschow.
Billboard Lawsuit
The City Manager provided the City Council with an update on the settlement conference that was
related to the billboard litigation.
Variance
Council discussed a potential variance application based on information that was provided in the
Council packets. The variance application could be coming before the Zoning and Planning
Commission at their August 29 meeting.
Hopkins Crossroad/Minnetonka Boulevard Reconstruction
Council discussed a potential ceremony recognizing all those that had participated in this project.
There being no further business, a motion was made by Youakim, seconded by Halverson to adjourn
he meeting. The motion passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 8:52 pm.
