RESOLUTION 2007-49
RESOLUTION DECLARING A VACANCY ON THE CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Council Member Jay Thompson was elected to a four-year term as a
Council Member of the City of Hopkins on November 4,2003, and;
WHEREAS, Council Member Jay Thompson resigned from that position on July 27,
2007, and;
WHEREAS, Section 2.05 of the Charter of the City of Hopkins provides that the City
Council shall by resolution declare the Council seat vacant,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Council of the City of Hopkins hereby declares a
vacancy on the City Council.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 6th day of August 2007.
