1953 � A special meeting of the Employeest Advisory Boaxd of the City of Hopkins
was held at lt:30 p.m. on Monday 1/19/53. Members present were Mayor
Perbix� City Manager Taylor, Caughren� Johnson� and Carter.
Johnson. moved� Caughren seconded that Mayor Perbix be nominated chairman
of the Advisory Board.
Taylor moved,, Johnson seconded that nominations be closed and Mayor Perbix
be elected chairman by a unanimous vote of the Board. Carried.
Taylor moved, Caughren seconded that C1yde Carter be appointed Secretary
of the Board. Carried nnanimously.
Taylor moved� Caughren seconded that the Advisory Board hold meetings
as found necessary from time to time upon call by any one member. Carried.

A special meeting of the Employees� Advisory Board of the City of Hr�pkins was
held at 4:30 p. m. on Wednesday, Agril 8, 1953. Members present were Meyor
Perbix, City Manager T�ylor, Caughren, Carter.
Tqylor noved, Caughr�n seconded, that John Brecka be appointed a member of the
�aployeest Advisory Board to fill out the unexpired term of Ted Johnson.

Caughren moved, Brecka seconded, that the Employeest Advisory Board recommend
to the City Council that Ordinance �68, section 12, be amended by omitting
the words "the regular workd�r shall be eight hours except on Saturd�p, When
it shall be four hoursn and that City Manager T�rlor formulate a plan whereby
as many employees as possible be permitted to work on a fine day basis. Carried.
The next meeting of the B�ard has been set for M4nday, April 13, 1953, at 4:30 p. m.

A meeting of full time employees of the City of Hopkins was called for
"� 4:30 p.m. , Wednesday, �uly 15, 1953 for the purpos� of electing one
member to the Advisory Board and also for discussioncn Blue �ross and
Blue Shield Holsptslization Plans.
Chairman Stevenson called the meeting to order and asked for nominations
for the election of one member to the �dvisory Board for a three year
term ending �/1/56, and the following were made;
Caughren moved, iiromadko seconded, the nomination of John Brecka.
Puck moved, Sterling seconded the nomina.tion of Walter Scanlon.
