06-11-1964 A special meeting of the Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of Hopkins was held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall on Thursday, June llth, 1964, at 7:30 A.M. , o'clock. Present were acting Chairman, Mayor Milbert and members Councilman Pokorny, Jr. , Larson and Melecha. The City Manager, Brubacher, City Engineer, Strojan and the City Building Inspector, Blomquist. Case No. 1. 64-19-Rezoning. Applicant: J. Russell Carroll. Subject: To rezone from Business-Residence to Commercial-2 District the following described property; the conditions are such that the land cannot be used in any other way. "Those parts of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Minnehaha Oaks lying Northeasterly of Minnehaha Creek. Action: Mr. Melecha moved and Mr. Larson seconded the motion that Resolution No. 176, "A RESOLUTION ORDERIN� A HEARING FOR REZONING FROM BUSINESS- RESIDENCE TO COMMERCIAL-2 DISTRICT", the following described property: "That parts of Lots l, 2, 3 and 4, Minnehaha Oaks lying Northeasterly of Minnehaha Creek, be approved. The motion carried. Case No. 2. 64-20-Rezoning. Applicant. Walfred J. Lund. Subject: To rezone from Double-Dwelling to Business-Residence the following ^ described property, "that part of Lot 70 Subdivision No. 239, lying North of Minnehaha Creek 138.3 feet along Monk Avenue; thence East 305.6 feet; thence South approximately 250 feet to Lake Street. Action: Mr. Melcha moved and Mr. Larson seconded the motion that Resolution �k177, "A RESOLUTION ORDERING A HEARING FOR REZONING FROM DOUBLE- RESIDENCE TO BUSINESS-RESIDENCE DISTRICT", the following described property: "That part of Lot 70 Subdivision No. 239, lying North of Minnehaha Creek 138.3 feet along Monk Avenue; thence East 305.6 feet; thence South approximately 250 feet to Lake Street.
