04-14-1964 The Special meeting of the Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of Hopkins was
held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall on Tuesday, April 14th, 1964, at 7:30
P.M, o'clock.
� Present were Chairman Sundby, and members Mayor Milbert, Stannard, Larson and Blake.
� The City Manager, Mr. Brubacher, City Engineer, Strojan, City Building Inspector,
Blomquist and the City Planner Hawks.
Case No. 1. 64-11-re-zoning.
Applicant: The Zoning and Planning Commission.
Subject: Plan for area West of 17th Avenue between Excelsior and County Road ��3.
Action: No formal action was taken. However the Commission was of the opinion
that when the hearing for the rezoning of the above area comes before
them at the regular Zoning and Planning Commission they will not approve
it.
Case No. 2. 63-5-Boundary Adjustment
Applicant: The Zoning and Planning Commission
Subject: Boundaries between Minnetonka. Village and the City of Hopkins.
Action: Mr. Hawks will see what he can do to get the Village of Minnetonka to
meet with our boundary commission. No formal action was taken.
_ Case No. 3. 63-54-Subdivision Regulations. 701 Program.
Applicant: The Zoning and Planning Co�mnission.
Subject: The subdivision of proposed developments. " "
Action: Mr. Larson moved that the proposed changes be made in the Subdivision
Regulation report and it be presented to the Council for action.
The motion died for lack of a second.
Mayor Milbert moved and Mr. Larson seconded the motion that Resolution
��174, "A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MAKE A DETAILED STUDY
AND REPORT ON THE AREA SOUTH OF THE PRESENT 7TH STREET SOUTH FOR THE
BEST LOCA.TION FOR THE PROPOSED NEW STREET TO SERVE THIS AREA,." The
motion carried.
The meeting adjourned.
