10-08-1963 A special meeting of the Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of Hopkins was held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall on Tuesday October 8, 1963, at 7:30 p.m. o'clock. Present were Chairman Sundby, members, Mayor Milbert, Gustafson, Stannard, Malecha and Larson. The City Manager, Brubacher, the City Engineer, Strojan, the City Building .-. Inspector, Blomquist and the City Planner, Hawks. Case No. 1. 63-4MR-1, MR-2 and C-2 areas. Applicant: The Zoning and Planning Commission. Subject: The proposed Ordinance ��224 was referred from the October lst, 1963, Council meeting to the Zoning and Planning Commission for additional study. Request: Refer after additional study back to the City Council. Action: Mayor Milbert moved and Mr. Gustafson seconded the motion that the Ordinance 67 - 435 be referred to Mr. Vesely, the City Attorney, to be rewritten; then Real 2- returned back to the City Council, after a review by the Commission. Request: Amend Ordinance ��131 to spell out "public access". Action: Mayor Milbert moved and Mr. Malecha seconded the motion that the Zoning and 441 - 585 Planning Commission continue the study of the proposed "spelling out of" "public access" until the next re�Lilar meeting October 29th, 1963. The motion carried. Case No. 3. 63-46-Parking. Applicant: Mr. John Donnellan: Subject: Motel parking on adjacent residential property or on the following described 0 - 67 land. Action: Mayor Milbert moved and Mr. Stannard seconded the motion that the Zoning and 0 - 67 Planning Commission recommend to the City Council that that body approve the request for a parking permit with the provisions that 1. The City Planner, and City Building Inspector approve the proposed parking plan; " 2. That a copy of the lease withthe Texaco Company be submitted with the obtaining of the parking permit. Action: The proposed plan for Highway #18 as submitted by the City Planner, Mr. Hawks 680 - 783 was reviewed. No action was taken.. However, it was suggested that Mr. Hawks R-S-S-1 contact the County to see what their response would be to the proposed plan. 0 - 28.
