RESOLUTION N0. 163
"A RESOLUTION ORDERING A HEARING ON APPLICATION
FOR REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM DOUBLE-
RESIDENCE TO MLTLTIPLE RESIDENCE".
WHEREAS, an application has been filed with the Zoning and Planning
Commission of the City of Hopkins that the following described lands which
are now in Double-Residence to Multiple-Residence of the City, viz:
That part of the following tract of land lying Northerly of a line
drawn parallel with Southerly line of said tract and distant 195
feet North measured along the East line of said tract:
^ All that part of the West Z of Northeast 4 of Section 24, Township
117, Range 22, West of the 5th Principal Meridan described as follows,
to-wit:
Commencing at a point where a line parallel with and distant 486.87
feet West, measured at right angles from the East line of said West
2 of said Northeast 4 of said Section intersects the Northerly line
of the public highway; thence North along said parallel line a
distance of 291.68 feet: thence Westerly along a line parallel with
the Northerly line of said public highway a distance of 6.72 feet;
thence South along a line parallel with the East line of said West 2
of said Northeast � of said Section a distance of 291.68 feet to the
Northerly line of .saiiipublic highway; thence Easterly along Northerly
line of said public highway a distance of 6.72 feet to the point of be,= �
ginning.
All that part of the West 2 of the Northeast � of Section 24, Town-
ship 117, Range 22, described as follows: Commencing at a point where
a line parallel with, and distance 486.87 feet West, Measured at
right angles from the East line of said West Z of said Nortreast 4
intersects the Northerly line of the public highway; thence North

All that part of the West Z of the Northeast 4 of Section 24, Town-
ship 117, Range 22, described as follows: Commencing on the North
line of Minnetonka Mills road 538.64 feet Northwest from its inter-
section with the East line of the Southwest 4 of the Northeast 4 of
said Section 24; thence North 195 feet on a line parallel with the
East line of said West Z of the Northeast 4i thence Northwesterly on
a line parallel with the Northerly line of said public highway, a
distance of 48.28 feet; thence South 195 feet to the Northerly line
of said public highway; thence Southeast along the Northerly line
of said public highway to the point of beginning.
That part of Section 24, Township 117, Range 22, described as follows:
"' Commencing on the North line of Minnetonka Mills Road 538,64 feet
Northwesterly from its intersection with East line of Southwest 4 of
Northeast 4j thence North 291.68 feet; thence Northwesterly para11e1
with said road 165 feet; thence South 291.68 feet to North line of
said Road; Thence Southeast along road 165 feet to beginning, except
Resolution No. 163 continued.
that part thereof described as follows: Commencing on the North line
^ of Minnetonka Mills Road 538.64 feet Northwest from its intersection
with East line of the Southwest 4 of the Northeast 4 of said Section
24, thence North 195 feet on a line parallel with the East line of said
West 2 of Northeast 4i thence Northwesterly on a line parallel with
the Northerly (n) line of said public highway, a distance of 48.28 feet;
thence South 195 feet to the Northerly (�) line of said public highway;
Thence Southeast along the Northerly (N) line of said public highway to
the point of beginning. And
AlI that part of the West one-half of the Northeast 4 of Section Twenty-
four (24) Township One hundred Seventeen (117) North, Range Twenty-two
(22) West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning on the East line of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of Section Twenty-Four, Township One Hundred Seventeen (117) ,
Ra.nge Twenty-two (22) at a point 1266.9 feet South of the Northeast
Corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, thence South
554.7 feet to the North line of the Minnetonka. Mills Road, thence North-
westerly along said line 531.92 feet, thence North and parallel with the
East line of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter 340,14 feet,
thence East 486.87 feet to the place of beginning, and except the East
164 feet and also except the North 160 feet of the above described land.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Zoning and Planning Commission
hold a hearing on said rezoning in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at a
regular meeting of said Commission to be held on October 29, 1963, at 7:30 p.m.
o'clock and that the Secretary of the Commission shall give seven (7) days
published notice of said hearing in the offical newspaper of the City by
publishing a copy of the resolution therein.
Adopted by the Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of Hopkins,
Minnesota, at a special meeting held October 8, 1963.
