A RESOLUTION ORDERING A HEARING ON AN APPLICATION FOR THE � �,
REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY , ��'"
WHEREAS a petition has been filed with the Zoning and Planning Commission
of the City of Hopkins, Hennepin County, Minnesota, requestin� that the fol-
lowing described tract of land which is now in the double residence district
of the ciCy be rezoned by removing the same from said double residence
district and placing the same in an industrial district of the city, viz:
That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SW�, of AiW�)
of Section Nineteen (19), in Township One Hundred Seventeen (117), ltange
ltaenty-one (21), lying East of the right-of-way of the Great Northern Railway
Company across said landa and South of a line drawn parallel to the South line

of said Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SW� of NW�) and distant
therefrom Five Hundred Ninety-three (593) feet measured alon; the East line
of said Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SW� of NW�)� and
WHEREAS said rezoning of said tract of land would require the adoption
of anordinance which would amend the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Hopkins,
NOW, THEREFORE,
IT IS Y.EREBY ORDERED that the zoning and plannfng commission hold a
special hearing on such rezonin� at the council chambers in the city hall at
a regular meeting of said cor�miasion to be held on Tuesday, August 26, 1958 at
8:00 o'clock P. M. , and that the secretary of the commission give seven days
� published notice of said hearin� in the official newspaper of the city by
publishing a copy of this resolution therein.
Adopted by the zoning and planning commiaffiion of the city of Hopkins
at a regular meeting thereof held this 29th day of July, 1958.
