Resolution 60 � � . \ .���1 CI1'Y OF HOPKINS � � �1� Hennepin County, Minnesota � � ZONING AND PLANNING COr41ISSI0N RESOLUTION N0. 60 A RESOLUTION ORDERING A HEARING ON APPLICATION TO CONSTRUCT PROPOSEll INllUSTRIAL BUILDING IN AN IN- lJ�USTRIAL AREA AND TO CONSTRUCT A BUSIN�SS RESIDENCE BUILDIIvG IN A Bti9I�VESS RESIDENCE AREA AND ON AN APPLICATION FOR REZONI�G CERTAIN PROPERTY. WHEREAS a written application .has.been made to the building inspector for a permit for the construction of a proposed industrial building upon Lots 2, 3, 4 and 5, Block 56, West Minneapolis, which area is now zoned industrial and pursuant to Ordinance No. 131of the City of tiopkins said area may be used for such purposes after hearint thereon� and WHERLAS written application has been made to the building inspector � for a permit for the construction of a business residence upon the fol- lowing described premises in Hopkins, Minnesota, viz: Co�nencing at a point on the East line of Lot 68, Auditor�s Subdivision Number 239, which point is 169 feet South of the Northeast corner thereof; thence South al�ng the East line of said Lot 68 a distance of 136 feet; thence West at right angles a distance of 140 feet; thence North at right angles, 136 feet; thence East to the point of beginning, said premises to be used for residential purposes and for the editing, scripting and compilin; of film, s3id premises being now zoned business residence and ordinance No. 131 of the City of Hopkins permitting such use after hearing thereon. NOtid THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of Hopkins hold a public hearing on said applica- tions in the Council Chambers in the City Hall on Tuesday, January 20, � 1959, at 5 o�clock P. M. , and that the Secretary cf the Commission give seven (7) days published notice of said hearings in the official news- paper of the city by publishing a copy of this resolution therein, and WHEREAS a petition and application has been filed with the Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, that the � following described land �ahich is now in the multiple residence district of the city be rezoned by removing the same from said multiple residence district and placing the same in a C-2 district of the city, viz: That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 117, Range 22 described as follows: The South 61.6 feet of the North 263.2 feet of the West 331 feet and the West 310 feet of the South 10 feet of the North � 273.2 feet, except road, and � WHEREAS said rezoning of said ttact of land would require the adoption of an ordinance which would amend the present zoning ordinance of the City of Hopkins, NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED th� the Zoning and Planning Commission hold a special hearing on said rezoning at the Council Chambers in the City Hall at a regular meeting of said conanission to be held on Tuesday, January 27, 1959 at 7:30 o'clock, P. M. and that the secretary of the commission give seven (7) days published notice of said hearing in the official newspaper of the city by publishing a copy of this resolution.
