ZONING AND PLANNING CONINBSSION
RESOLUTION N0. 134
RESOLUTION ORDERING A HEARING ON APPLICA.TION FOR
REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY.
WHEREAS the Zoning and Planning Commission desiring to bring a
District where the boundary line thereof divides a lot in one owner-
ship into two districts, hereby make application to rezone the follow-
ing described lands which are now in various zones and placing same in
Industrial and Commercial District of the City viz:
"To rezone from Multiple-Residence to Commercial -1- Zone that
� part of Lots 4, 5, 6, Block 2, West Minneapolis lying South of
North 130 feet of said lots; that part of the right-of-way of
the M. & St. L. Division of the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad
in the Southwest � of the Southeast 4 of Section 24, Township
117, Range 22, lying South of a line parallel to and 130 feet
South of the South line of Excelsior Avenue; from Industrual
to Commercial -1- that part of the following described property
lying South of a line parallel to and 130 feet South of the
South line of Excelsior Avenue; Lots 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13,
Auditor's Subdivision No. 242 and Tracts A, B, C, D, E, and
F, R.L.S. ��823; from Commercial -1- to Industrial zone that
part of the right-of-way of the M. & St. L. Division of the
Chicago and Northwestern Railroad in the Southeast 4 of the
Southeast 4i Section 24, Township 117, Range 22, lying
North of the line parallel to and 130 feet South of the
South line of Excelsior Avenue,"
THEREFOR.E it is ordered that the Zoning and Planning Commission hold
a hearing on said rezoning in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at a
� regular meeting of said Commission to be held on September 25, 1962 at
7:30 o'clock p.m. and that the Secretary of the Commission shall give
seven (7) days published notice of said hearing in the official news-
paper of the City by publishing a copy of the resolution therein.
Adopted by the Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of Hopkins
Minnesota at a regular meeting held August 28, 1962.
