A RESOZUTION ORDERIQG A HEA&I�JG ON APPLICATION TO GRANT A,�'� EXC�^DTIUV TO A
PROYI SI OV OF T13E ZONIt�TG ORDIi1ANCE.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the city buildin� inspector in the form
of a written ap�lication for a building permit to use the Easterly Ten (10) feet of
Lot Ei�ht (F�) � Block Three (3) , West Minneapolis, for the purpose of erecting a
building thereon, and
WHEREAS, said lot is located in the commercial district and such pezmit, if
granted� would be in violation of the city of Honkina ordinance No. g� Section 5�
Subdivieion 1+, which requiree a front yard of not lesa than ten (10) feet on eaid
lo t� and

WHxREA.S, the soning commiaeion has the power and authority to vary and modify
the strict anplication of any of the re�lations and proviaions contained in said
ordina.nce P1o. g in cases in which there are practical diffic�altiea or unnecessary
hardships in the way of auch strict application, and
WH�REAS, the applicant for such building permit hae asked for a modification of
the anplication of said ordi:iance as to e�.id lot so as to permit the use of said
easterly ten (10) feet thereof for bui�ding pu�oaee and alleges that unnecessary hard-
ehip w�uld incur to the applica.n.t in caee such use is denied, and
WHEREAS, the city building inapector has set Friday, the 11tY�ay of August, 1950,
at 7:3n o'clock P.M. ab. the dty hall as the time and place for a meeting of the zoning
commiesion for the purpose of hearing, considerating and acting upon said applica-
� tion; NOW, THEREPbRE,
BE IT RE�OLYED that th� commission meet at said time and place for the purpose of
conaiderin� said application, and that the building inapector cause public notice of
such hearing to be given by causing one notice thereof to be published in the official
news�aper of the city of Hopkins at least aeven (7) days before the date of said hearing.
