10-28-1952 ^ A regular me�ting of the Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of Hopkins was
held at the City HaL1 at 7s30 p.a�, on Tuesday� October 28� 1952. I'resent Kere
Chairman Anderla� Member$ Pivec� Johnson� Parks� Hagen and Mayor Perbix� Council.m.an
Milbert, City Manager Ta.ylor� City Attorney Whitney� and City Engineer I.aska.
Absent: none.
Paxks moved� Taylor seconded� that recommendation be made to the City Council that
the proposal dated 10/17/52 with reference to land located within lot 68� Auditor�s
Subdivision 239, as rnade by Celia E. Erickson be accepted, sub�ect to temporary
easement covering the water main located between Division street on the north and
Cambridge on the 5outh over and on the East 33' of lot 68. Carried.
Hagen maved� Parks seconded� that recommendation be made to the City Council that
perm-I.ts be issued for the erection of five garages on portion of lot 70� Auditor'�
Subdivision 239� which would be at 1305� 1309, 1313, 1317� 1321 E. Lake Street.
These garages would be so located on said portion of lot 70 so as to be in violation
of the requireraents of the Zoning ordinanc� as the satne applies to location of
private garages. Carried.
Taylor moved� Parks seconded� that the pet3t3.on for the rezoning of a portion of
lot 7?� Auditorts Subdivision 239� be again tabled tantil Segoe and Associates have
^ made their report or until such ti.me that some other proposal comes up. Caxried•
Taylor moved� Hagen seconded� that recommendation be made to the City Council that
lots 7 and 8, block 1� west Mpls. 3rd addition, be rezoned fro�a residential to
coiarnercial as per petition presented by Peterson and Hede Compar�y of 31l� - 17th
Avenue North. Carried.
