A special meetin� of the Zonir� & Planning Comnission of the City of
Hopkins was held on Friday, February 2'7, 1953, at l�:00 p.m. at the
City Ha11. I�Zembers present were Chairman Anderla, .TM'iembers Johnson,
Ha.gen, Parks, ria.yor Perbix, Councilman r�iilbert, City T�ianager Taylor,
and City Er�ineer Ia.s�a.
Perbix moved, Taylor seconded that recom�endation be Made to the City
Council that the petition as proposed by the Niinneapolis Terminal Ware-
house Company for the vacatin� of the following streets and alleys be
approved;
1. T-,�ler Avernze from the north boundary of Lot 5, Block 1, 1Nest Ntpls.
Center� e::tended to the intersection of Tyler Avenue tirith St. Louis
Street.
2. Harrison Avenue from its intersection with t.he southerr. boundax�f of
Second Street PJorth to i�,s intersection with the north�resterl��- boundary
of St. Louis Street.
^ 3. Van Buren 1�venue from its intersection with the southern bour�ary
of Second Street North to its intersection ti,r�th tre rlorthern boundary
of F'irst Street North.
!�. First Street Tlorth frorn the west bour�dar�j of Lot 13, Block 3, West
Nipls. Center, extended, to the inter�ection of �'irst 5treet I�iorth
with St. Lou.is Street.
�. St. Louis S�reet froni the western boundary of Van Buren Avenue extended,
to the intersection of S�. Louis Street with i'�Tler Avenue.

The Commission also wishes to report that they did not hold a public
hearing on this petition.
