^ Present were Chaisman Perbix, members Anderla, Johnson, Hagen, i-iayor I•Iadden, Councilrnan
Tesarek, City P�lanager I'rissell and City Engineer Sidney-Smi.th.
Anclerla moved, Johnson seconded, that recommendation be made to the City Council tn.at
an ordinance be adopted relating to zoning and amending Ordinance �8 of the City of
Hoplci.ns, Section 3, Subdivision 2, thereof, as set up in zoni.ng and planning Resolu-
tion r�33. Carried.
Hagen moved, Smith seconded, that all property North of Second Street North to
Farmdale Road extended, and from Tyler Avenue T��est to Great Northern Railroad tracics,
remain as presently zoned. Carried.
Ander7a moved, Niadden seconded, that the meetin.g be adjourned to �:00 P.I�1., Tuesday,

Hopkins wi ( I meet in the council chambers of the city hall at eight otclock
p.m. on Tuesda y, August 3�, �955, for the purpose of considering the
following amendment to Ordinance Number 8 of said city (the aoning ordinance) ;
Amend Section 3, Subd'+vision 2, to read as follows: "Subdivision
No. 2. USE REGULATIONS. In the residential district, unless otherwise pra-
vided in this ordinance, no building or land shall be used, and no building
shall hereafter be erected or structurally aftered except for one or more of

' the following uses;
(a) . One family or two-family dwellings and their accessory
buildings;
(b) . Farming or truck gardening; plant nurseries or greenhouses,
when not used or operated for commercial purposes;
(c) . ParE:s and playgrounds, golf courses or golf clubs;
(d) . Churches, libraries, museums, schools, memorial buildings,
including name plates and bulletin boar�s placed in back of the prescr�bed
set back I i nes;
(e) Nome occup�tions.
.-� Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed
amendment will be heard at this meeting.
