06-13-1972 A special meeting of the Zoning and Planning Commission was held on June 13, 1972,
at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall.
Present were Chairman Lohmann, members Knickerbocker, Lund, Malerich, Sidla and
Slaton. Also present were City Manager Novak, City Fazgineer Strojan, Zoning
� A dministrator Kohnen and City Planner Hawks.
Item: Appearance by Jack Walser regarding an application to construct a
Special Purpose fence on the old American Legion site.
Chairman ordered a hearing set for June 27, 1972, for a Conditional
Use Permit for a Special Purpose fence.
Dr. Slaton took over as chairman for the next case.
Case No. 72-08 Rehearing on the G. F. Lohmann property on Cambridge Street.
A ction: Dr. Malerich moved and Mr. Lund seconded a motion to continue the
matter to June 27, 1972, at which time adequate maps and drawings
would be available.
Mr. Lund moved to amend the motion to include a study by the staff
of the adequacy of parking and also for comments on the traffic
problems anticipated. Dr. Malerich concurred on the proposed
amendment to his original motion. Motion carried.
Item: Parking of recreation vehicles in the "R" District continued to

Item: Apartment security ordinance continued to June 27, 1972.
Item: Planning consultant review continued to June 27, 1972.
Item: Proposed ordinance regarding density for nursing homes.
Action: Chairman ordered a hearing on the proposed ordinance change recommended
by the Council for June 27, 1972.
Item: Proposed ordinance regarding special set-backs.
Action: Chairman ordered a hearing on an amendment to the ordinance regarding
special set-back provisions for June 27, 1972.
Action: Mr. Knickerbocker moved and Dr. Slaton seconded a motion that the
meeting be adjourned. Motion carried.
