Background:
The City Council and staff conducted a retreat on March 22, 2005 to review the
2004-2005 Goals and Objectives,
The Council also met on May 24, 2005 to review the first draft of the 2005-2006
Goals and Objectives document. At that time, there was one suggested addition
to Goal IV-A (Action 7- Shady Oak Road project),
At the June 14, 2005 work session the Council briefly discussed Goall-D
(Conduct a Citizen Academy) at the request of the City Manager as staff is
beginning to prepare for the Academy, Council felt that a full discussion of the
goals and objectives should take place at the next work session,
Another draft of goals and objectives for 2005-2006 is included in this packet for
review and discussion,
It is anticipated that the 2005-2006 Goals and Objectives will be placed on a
future regular City Council agenda for approval.

Oak Road Corridor
