RESOLUTION MAKING F1NDINGS OF FACT AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL FOR A
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A DAY CARE AT 1420 MAINSTREET.
WHEREAS, an application for Conditional Use Permit CUP07-1 has been made by Drop N Go
Kids Kare L.L.C.;
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows:
1. That an application for a conditional use permit was made by Drop N Go Kids
Kare L.L.C.
2. That the Hopkins Zoning and Planning Commission, pursuant to mailed and
published notice, held a public hearing on the application and reviewed such
application on January 30, 2007: all persons present were given an opportunity to
be heard;
3. That the written comments and analysis of City staff were considered; and
4. A legal description of the subject property is as follows:
� Beginning on the south line of Excelsior Avenue in the Village of West
Minneapolis, at a point 389 feet west of the east line of the Southwest
Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24, Township, 117, Range 22;
thence west along the south line of said Excelsior Avenue 239.4 feet;
thence south parallel with the east line of said Southwest Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter of said Section, 350 feet; thence east parallel with said
Excelsior Avenue 239.4 feet; thence north 350 feet to the point of
beginning.
That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section
24, Township 117, Range 22, described as follows: Beginning on the
south line of Excelsior Avenue in the Village of West Minneapolis, at a
point 389 feet west of the east line of the Southwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter of said Section 24; thence south parallel with the east
line of said Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter 350 feet; thence
east parallel with the south line of said Excelsior Avenue, 19.8 feet; thence
northerly in a straight line to the point of beginning

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application for Conditional Use Permit
CUP07-1 is hereby recommended for approval based on the following Findings of Fact:

1. That the proposed day care use meets the requirements for a conditional use permit.
