RZ05-37 CITY OF HOPKINS Hennepin County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO: RZOS-37 � RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A VARIANCE FOR A FRONT YARD SETBACK TO CONSTRUCT A SIGN WHEREAS, an application for Variance VNOS-10 has been made by King Technology; and WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: 1. That an application for Variance VNOS-10 was made by King Technology on October 27, 2005; 2. That the Hopkins Zoning and Planning Commission, pursuant to mailed notice, held a meeting on the application and reviewed such application on November 29, 2005: all persons present were given an opportunity to be heard; 3. That the written comments and analysis of the City staff were considered; and 4. Legal description of the parcel is as follows: Lots l, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, Block 54, West Minneapolis All the vacated alley dedicated to the public in Block 54 of the plat of West Minneapolis and that part of vacated 12`h Avenue and vacated Railroad Boulevard (dedicated as � Railway Boulevard in said plat) lying between the west and northerly line of said Block 54 and the following described line: Commencing at the southwest corner of said Block 54 thence west along the westerly extension of the south line of said block to the center line of vacated 12`'' Avenue, thence north along said centerline to the northerly line of Railroad Boulevard, thence northeasterly along the northerly line of Railroad Boulevard to its intersection with the northerly extension of the east line of said Block 54, thence south along said extension to the northeast corner of said block, and said line there terminating. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that application for Variance VNOS-10 to reduce the front yard setback from 10 feet to five is hereby recommended for approval based on the following Findings of Fact: 1.
