RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF A PRELIMINARY/FINAL PLAT FOR THERMOTECH
WHEREAS, an application for a preliminary/final plat SUBDOS-2 has been made by Termotech; and
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows:
1. That an application for a preliminary/final plat was made by Thermotech, on April 29,
2005;
2. That the Hopkins Zoning and Planning Commission, pursuant to mailed and published
notice, held a public hearing on the application and reviewed such application on May 31,
2005: all persons present were given an opportunity to be heard;
3. That the written comments and analysis of City staff were considered; and
4. A legal description of the subject property is as follows:
Lots 7 to 18 inclusive, Block 1; that part of the vacated alley in said Block 1 lying
between the extensions across it of the south line of said Block 1 and the north
� line of said Lot 18; Also that part of the west half of vacated Thirteenth Avenue
lying between the extension across it of the north line of said block 1 and the
northwestern right�f-way line of Chicago Milwaukee, St Paul and Pacific
Railway Company; and also that part of vacated Sixth Street South lying between
the extension across it of the west line of said Lot 13 and the northwesterly right-
of-way line of the Chicago Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railway company, all
in LP Crevier's First Addition to West Minneapolis, Hennepin County,
Minnesota.
That part of the south 1/2 of the southwest '/4 of the northwest 1/4 , Section 25,
Township 177, Range 22, lying north of the northwesterly right-of-way line of the
Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad Company and east of a line
drawn north parallel to the west line or the west line of the northwest 1/4 of said
Section 25 from a point on the south line of said northwest 1/4 distance 1,039.5
feet east along aid south line from the southwest corner of said northwest 1/4,
Hennepin County, Minnesota.
Lots 1 to 17 inclusive, Block 36; all of the alley in Block 36 lying between the
southeasterly line of Lot 7 and the north line of Lot 1, Block; that part of the
adjoining east half of 13`h Avenue South, vacated, lying between the extensions
westerly across it of the north line of Lot 17 and the southeasterly line of Lot 8,
Block 36; that part of the adjoining west half of 12`" Avenue South vacated ling
� between the extensions easterly across it of the north line of Lot 1 and
southeasterly line of Lot 7, Block 36, all in "West Minneapolis" Hennepin
County, Minnesota.
And that part of the east %z of vacated 14`" Avenue dedicated in L.P. Crevier's
First Addition to West Minneapolis lying between the western extensions of the
� north line of Lot 18 and the south line of Lot 13, all in Block 1, said plat:
That part of vacated 6`h Street South dedicated in L.P. Creviers First Addition To
West Minneapolis that lies between the southerly extensions of the west line of
Lot 13, Block, and of the centerline of 14`" Avenue South, all in said plat.
Lots 1 to 6 inclusive and Lots 19 to 24 inclusive, Block 1;
The vacated ally in said Block 1, between the extensions across it of the north line
of said Block 1 and the south line of Lot 19, said Block l;
L.P. Crevier's First Addition to West Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
That part of the east 1/2 of vacated 14`h Avenue dedicated in L.P. Creviers First
Addition to West Minneapolis lying between the westerly extension of the north
line of Lot 24 and the south line of Lot 19 all in Block 1, said plat.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application for a preliminary/final plat
SUBDOS-2 is hereby recommended for approval based on the following Findings of Fact:
1. That the preliminary/final plat meets the subdivision requirements.
� 2. That the preliminary/final plat meets the zoning requirements.
