ZN86-04 ^ CITY OF HOPKINS Hennepin County, Minnesota RESOLUTION N0. 86-4 RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING APPLICATION FOR REZONING ZN85-40 WHEREAS, a request for rezoning was made by the City of Hopkins, requesting a change in zoning from R-6 to R-2 Residential in the South- west portion of the City. WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: 1. That a request for rezoning ZN85-40 was requested by the City of Hopkins on November 2, 1986. 2. That the City of Hopkins Planning Commission reviewed such ap- plication on November 26, 1985. 3. That the City of Hopkins Planning Cor�nission, pursuant to pub- lished and mailed notices, held a public hearing on November 26, 1985; all persons present at the hearing were given an opportunity to be heard. 4. That the written comments and analysis of the City Staff and the ^ Planning Commission were considered. NOW THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Hopkins City Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect to ZN85-40: 1. That a R-2 Residential Zoning is consistent with the 1990 Compre- hensive Plan designation for this site. 2. Bring zoning into conformance with present use of subject site and surrounding uses. Adopted this 21 day of January, 1986.
