Memo - 2nd Reading Ordinance 893 - Junk Cars . . e CITY OF HOPKINS MEMORANDUM To: Hopkins City Council From: Jim Genellie Date: February 4, 2003 Subject: Second Reading of Ordinance 2003-893 Staff recommends that the Council approve the following motion: Move that the Hopkins City Council approve Ordinance 2003-893 for second reading and order published. This ordinance has not changed since the first reading. Attachments: . Ordinance 2003-893 Section 1325.01 of the IIopkins City Code defines a "junk car." The proposed langu(1gc c.\pands this det'inition in order to make the definition more objective. Section 1325.03 sets out the time limits that various vehicles. including junk cars. can he parked on public or private property. This section is amended for purpose of making it clearer. It also changes (1 two-hour time limit to a 24-hour time limit. .
