November 18, 2019
CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Hopkins City Council
was held on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 7:01 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City
Hall, 1010 First Street South, Hopkins.
Mayor Gadd called the meeting to order followed by the Pledge of Allegiance with
Council Members Brausen, Kuznia, Halverson and Hunke attending. Staff present
included City Manager Mornson and Assistant City Manager Lenz.
ADOPT AGENDA
Mayor Gadd commented that the 2019 Hopkins Community Image Awards has been
rescheduled to the December 3, 2019 City Council meeting.
Motion by Kuznia. Second by Hunke.
Motion to Adopt Agenda as amended.
Ayes: Brausen, Kuznia, Gadd, Halverson, Hunke.
Nays: None. Motion carried.
CONSENT AGENDA
Motion by Halverson. Second by Brausen.
Motion to Approve the Consent Agenda.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
• The next regular City Council meeting is Tuesday, December 3, 2019.
• A Special City Council meeting has been added on Tuesday, November 26 at 5:30
to complete Council appointments.
• A Special City Council Work Session has been added on Tuesday, November 26,
2019, 6:30 p.m. for the Council, Beacon staff and City staff to discuss the Beacon
Interfaith Housing proposed project. The public is welcome to attend but public
testimony has already been heard by the City Council at previous meetings.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the City Council and upon a motion by
Brausen, second by Hunke, the meeting was unanimously adjourned at 7:05 p.m.

The City Council did not receive any comments or concerns.
