Amendment to the 2020 City Council Meeting Schedule
Proposed Action.
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve the Amendment to the
2020 City Council Meeting Schedule.
The Amendment would change the HRA and City Council Meetings scheduled for November 16
to November 17.
Overview:
The HRA Meeting and City Council Meeting were scheduled to be held on Monday, November
16. Due a change in schedules, the HRA Meeting and City Council meetings will now be held
on the normal meeting night, Tuesday, November 17.
Regular City Council meetings will be held the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00
p.m. Work Session meetings will be held the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. and/or
immediately following the adjournment of regular Council meetings. Occasionally meeting
dates are changed to avoid conflicts with holidays or other events.
Primary Issues to Consider:
When creating the calendar staff attempts to foresee all dates and times for meeting, and
attempts to address as many potential conflicts as possible; there are times where a special
meeting may need to be scheduled during the course of the year.
