Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move that Council authorize the Mavor and Actinq City Manaqer to enter into an aqreement with SEH, Inc. for enqineerinq services related to the reconstruction of Parkinq Lot 800. Overview. City parking lot 800 has deteriorated to the point where reconstruction is the only feasible improvement option. The current CIP includes a $250,000 project in 2005 for pavement reconstruction, landscaping and lighting improvements. Staff solicited proposals from SEH, Inc. and Bolton & Menk, Inc. for design services. The proposals were similar but the SEH proposal includes all necessary design services while being slightly lower in cost at $15,925. The proposed fee is reasonable and staff recommends approval. .
