Gun Policy - Hopkins Center for the Arts
Staff is preparing a discussion on the potential of a gun ban policy for the Hopkins
Center for the Arts (HCA).
At the July 15th Council meeting, the Council indicated a desire to discuss the idea of a
gun ban at the HCA. I have spoken with Wynn Curtiss, Assistant City Attorney, and
Craig Reid, asking them to be prepared to discuss the new laws on this issue as well as
the issues surrounding enforcement. Both will be in attendance, as will Jay Strachota,
HCA Facility Manager.
