On August 21 S\ Council designated St. Therese SOLJthwest as the polling place for
Precinct 7. Today, I learned that Hennepin County will need a resolution to make
that change on the State System.
Staff recommends that the City Council move to adopt Resolution 2001-61,
Resolution designating St. Therese Southwest as the polling Place for Precinct
Seven.

RESOLUTION 2001-61
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING ST. THERESE SOUTHWEST AS THE POLLING
PLACE FOR PRECINCT SEVEN
WHEREAS, City elections will be held on Novernber 6, 2001, and;
WHEREAS, The polling place, Greenfield Apartrnents, for Precinct Seven will
no longer be available for elections, and;
WHEREAS, St. Therese Southwest is willing to have a polling place in their
facility;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, The City Council of the City of Hopkins
designates St. Therese Southwest, 1011 Feltl Court, to be the Polling Place
for Precinct Seven until such time that a different polling place is designated
by the City Council.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 4th day of
September, 2001 .
