The definition of Lodging House in Section 1170.01 of the Hopkins City Code is in conflict with the definition in The Uniform Building and Fire Codes. Both the . Uniform Codes have been adopted by the City and incorporated into the City Code. We are obligated by the State of Minnesota to enforce the Uniform Codes and cannot make changes to any of the definitions therein.
