State of the City 2000
Steve per our discussion last week: As all of the Council Members would like to have a role in
this year's State of the City Address and the topic of discussion being the Vision, here are
tit some of the points I think they should discuss:

This is just a thought but since we are going to be tight on time I think rather than Gene
introducing each Council Member before they speak, that he should introduce all of them in
the beginning. I want all of the Council members to be in front of the audience at the same
time for the entire time. When it is each person's time to speak they just speak up, without an
introduction. The flow will be dictated by the discussion. We can put an agenda on the chairs
for those listeners who get lost. I think the address should appear relaxed. The excitement
should come from the members themselves. I would like the address to resemble a panel with
open dialogue and interaction. It is just a thought.
