DESIGNATE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER FOR 1997
Proposed Action
Staff recommends that the Council approve the following motion: Move to appoint the
Hopkins Sun Sailor as the official newspaper for the City of Hopkins.
Overview
Each year the City designates a newspaper to be the official newspaper. All legal
• notices throughout out the year are printed in the official newspaper. The Sun Sailor
has been the official newspaper for the City of Hopkins for several years.
Primary Issues to Consider
The Sun Sailor is the only newspaper that is delivered to each home in Hopkins. The
rates are competitive to the Lakeshore Weekly News rates.
